When Integrated Surgical
Systems needed help with a compact braking and positioning system.
Tasked
with the Industrial and mechanical design, we developed a simple
solution, sourced the components, coordinated prototyping, and created
production drawings. After that we conceptualized and prototyped a
number
of surgical tools and devices that are in use today in total hip, and
total
knee replacement surgery.
